Platform Structure and Navigation Menus - AdOpt

Understanding the structure of AdOpt will make it easier to navigate and use the platform. In this tutorial, we will explain how the structure works according to the navigation menus.

The first point to note in the side menu is that there are two groups: organization and disclaimer.

In summary, some actions apply to the entire organization, while others are specific to a disclaimer — impacting only one banner and not the whole organization or group of banners/disclaimers.

What is an organization?

Here’s an analogy to help understand organizations. Organizations are like folders on a computer where files are stored. In AdOpt, you can manage multiple cookie banners and websites within a single organization.

My organizations

In this section, you can check all the organizations you have access to, the ones you own, and those you’ve been invited to as a guest.

To access this stage, simply click on the AdOpt logo in the upper left corner.

Checkbox Button

Notice that both the organization and the banner have a button that works as a dropdown.

This allows you to easily select another organization/disclaimer and switch without needing to search for it within the platform. For example, you could select a disclaimer and click on the tags section to quickly access and run a scan again.

Organization Sections

My disclaimers

Within the organization, you can access “My disclaimers” the main section of the dashboard, where all banners are displayed side by side, along with the organization panel showing the name, plan, consents, and unique visitors. Here, you can create new disclaimers and start customizing them.

Documents

In the organization’s Documents section, you can visualize all documents created within the organization and easily link a document to a new disclaimer. This is useful when multiple websites follow the same policy, for example.

Members

You can share access to an organization in the members section. By inviting another user here, the access permissions will apply only to that organization. The account owner is the only one with full access to the account and organizations. Other members must be invited.

Organization Settings

Access general settings for the organization. A key feature here is the “Consent update” functionality, which allows you to update consent requests whenever a section of any disclaimer is modified.

Dashboard

Access the KPIs of your organization’s banners. Guide here.

Consent Logs

Access, manage, and extract reports from your Cookie Banners. Complete guide here.

Audit

Monitor the record of actions performed within the organization. Complete guide here.

Webhooks

Check out AdOpt’s Webhooks documentation.

Disclaimer Sections

Here you’ll find all the Disclaimer settings steps and a section dedicated to each one of it. We recommend exploring each of the sections to take full advantage of the customization options AdOpt offers for your compliance.

Plan, Help, and G2

At the bottom of the side menu, we have the buttons:

My Plan

Access the plan information page, billing details, payment method, history, etc.

Help

Access the AdOpt Knowledge Base.
