Configuring SSO with JumpCloud for AdOpt

This guide details the process of configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) using JumpCloud to access the AdOpt platform.

Before starting the SSO configuration, ensure that:

• You have administrative access to JumpCloud.
• Your AdOpt account is enabled for SSO.

1. Access the JumpCloud admin panel.
2. In the side menu, go to SSO > Applications.
3. Click + Add New Application.
4. Select Custom SAML App and click Configure.

• Display Name: AdOpt
• Description: SSO for AdOpt
• IDP Entity ID: Provided on the AdOpt configuration page
• SP Entity ID (Audience URI): Provided on the AdOpt configuration page
• ACS URL (Assertion Consumer Service): Provided on the AdOpt configuration page

In JumpCloud, configure the attributes as needed:

1. Access AdOpt.

2. In the top right menu, go to Account Settings.

3. Add an identity provider:

   • Name: Set a name for your provider
   • Metadata URL: Copy from the JumpCloud configuration.
   • Select the organizations this user will have permission for.

4. Save the settings.

1. In JumpCloud, assign the AdOpt application to a test user.
2. Go to https://dash.goadopt.io/sso/login.
3. Enter the provider name.
4. You will be redirected to the JumpCloud login page.
5. After authentication, you will be directed to AdOpt.

If the login is successful, SSO has been configured correctly.

If an error occurs:

• Verify that the Entity ID and ACS URL values are correct.
• Ensure the user has access to the application in JumpCloud.
