What text edits are possible in the Cookie Banner?

Starting from the Business plan, almost all texts in the Disclaimer are editable: titles, category descriptions, buttons, links, etc.

Go to the Style section, in the Disclaimer Text step, and locate the gray-colored cards. Click on the text you want to change and the field will open for editing. Each field has a character counter displaying the current text length and the character limit.

Keep in mind that if you want to change the text in only one language, simply choose the legislation and language you want and edit it directly, as shown in the preview below.

Once edited, don’t forget to save your change before switching to another language/legislation.

Each language and legislation can have a unique text combination for that version of the banner.

You can make text changes in the default language and all others. No text modification is required, but customization is possible based on your business' needs.

How to test my changes?

• To test the multi-legislation functionality of the AdOpt Disclaimer from other countries, you will need a VPN.

• To test the multi-language functionality of the AdOpt Disclaimer, simply change your browser's language and refresh the page where the AdOpt Banner is installed.

Yes, you can change the availability of certain languages on your website. By default, AdOpt provides more than 30 languages, but you can remove languages and change the default language for your business.

Clicking the Configure Language button will open a window where you can enable or disable languages and change the default language.
