The consent record is stored in the AdOptConsent cookie, which is valid for 60 days. At the end of this period, a new consent request will be made. Through this functionality, you can reactivate consent requests for your Cookie Notice before that period.
In your AdOpt dashboard, you can configure which updates within the platform will trigger a new consent request for visitors to your site. Even if they have previously given consent, making this change will prompt users to provide consent again.
This is an organization-wide setting, and all Disclaimers within your Organization will receive this adjustment.
Log in to your AdOpt account.
In the left sidebar, click on My Organization and select the Organization for which you want to update the consent version.
3. Access your Organization's Settings.
4. Roll the page down until you see the Consent section.
(1) Select the configuration steps that, when modified, will trigger a new consent request.
(2) Click Save to apply the changes. The Cookie Notice will reappear for ALL site visitors, requesting consent again.
Practical example: whenever you make changes or updates to your site's tags and policies, the consent request will be updated.
This is also a way to renew the consent request for your entire visitor base.Tip
